Martin County Sheriff’s Deputies, Sewall’s Point Police, and the Stuart Fire Department worked with Martin County Fire Rescue to fight an early morning house fire.
According to the Sheriff’s department, the call came in around 1:30 Sunday morning from a fisherman who said he saw the large blaze from the Sewall’s Point area.
Deputies say the house was fully engulfed. Emergency responders on scene reported that no one was in the house at the time of the fire.
Fire Rescue believe the cause of the fire is linked to fireworks. The property damage could total up to $600,000. ..
