Fire destroyed a two-story home near the Indian River Lagoon in Jensen Beach Friday afternoon.
Flames and smoke poured out of the home just north of the Jensen Beach Causeway on Indian River Drive.
Doc Hogan is a resident at the Driftwood Motel located next to the house. Hogan says he was sitting in his unit, working on his computer, when he noticed people running through the parking lot. He says the fire was already going strong by the time the fire department arrived on scene.
Luckily nobody was hurt and everyone was able to evacuate the building at the time of the fire
