FHP & FLHSMV mourn the lost of FHP Trooper shot & killed on I95 in Martin county
The Florida Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles tweeted this out regarding the shooting death of FHP Trooper Joseph Bullock. Trooper Bullock was shot and killed today in the line of duty on I95 in Martin County.
He was a 19-year veteran of the agency.
FHP said Trooper Bullock spent his entire law enforcement career with Troop L (Fort Pierce), and was also an Air Force veteran.
FHP said it will hold a news conference at 5 p.m. at the Martin County Sheriff’s Office about the officer-involved shooting.
No other details, including what led to the shooting, have been released.
