Early morning drug raid in Port St. Lucie lands three people in jail.

On August 18, 2017, Port St. Lucie Police arrested Ladameon Leroy Murphy for Trafficking Oxycodone, possession of firearm by a convicted felon, possession of cocaine with intent to sell, possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, possession of marijuana under 20 grams, and possession of drug paraphernalia.  Police also arrested Travis Laird for possession of a controlled substance, possession of a New Legend Drug without prescription, and possession of marijuana under 20 grams and Emanuella Pierre-Toussaint charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and violation of probation.

The investigation began when the PSL Police Department received tips from citizens. They said that there was possible drug activity at a house located in the 2400 block of SE Melaleuca Boulevard.  Port St. Lucie Police Special Investigation Detectives conducted an investigation based on the tips and obtained a search warrant for the house.

On August 18, 2017 at around 5:45 am, Port St. Lucie Police SWAT team made entry into the house.  After making the house safe for the detectives to enter, Port St. Lucie Police Special Investigation Detectives along with agents from DEA and ATF conducted a search of the residence.  Police located Ecstasy, Cocaine, Oxycodone, prescription medications, Marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and a Sig .45 caliber handgun.

Murphy, Laird, and Pierre-Toussaint were arrested. They were taken to the St. Lucie County Jail for booking
