Dog who ran scared from car crash reunited with owner

Martin County, Fl (treasurecoast.com)- The Martin County Sheriff is reporting that Esco, the dog who ran scared from a car crash has been reunited with his owner.

This is from the Martin County Sheriff

The Martin County Sheriff’s Office is happy to report that Esco, the dog who ran from the scene after his owner was involved in a serious crash, has just been safely located.
After days of searching for Esco, he was located running near a home along Martin Highway about an hour ago. A local ranch owner reported seeing the dog running around the large parcel of ranch land, then an MCSO Detective saw Esco running along Martin Highway on a live security camera feed.
Esco’s owner, Brian, who despite his injuries, has been searching a stretch of the busy interstate since he was released from the hospital.
The crash happened on I95 near Martin Highway over the weekend. Brian was taken to the hospital, but a terrified Esco ran down the interstate and was missing for days.
Esco is slightly dehydrated, but otherwise does not appear to be injured.
We would like to thank everyone for sharing this post, and taking part in the search to find this frightened dog.
