Friday was a “Day of Action” for the backers of the medical marijuana amendment.
Supporters of the medical marijuana amendment gathered at more than a dozen locations to collect signatures.

It takes almost 700 thousand signatures to get an amendment on the ballot and then it takes 60 percent of the vote to be approved. Last year’s medical marijuana amendment came up short at 58 percent
