DARYL MAGILL AND THE SHAKERS: LIVE AT THE KANE CENTER ON NOVEMBER 1

Daryl Magill and the Shakers will headline a benefit concert at the Kane Center on Salerno Road in Stuart on November 1 at 2 p.m. for the Council on Aging of Martin County’s Adult Day Program.  The high energy, interactive show will feature a wide range of music, from standards by Frank Sinatra and Louis Armstrong to country tunes and Motown.  Tickets are $10 and are available online at www.kanecenter.org, at the Kane Center, or by calling 772-223-7800 (Monday-Friday).

Magill, a Stuart resident originally from New York’s Hudson Valley, is a popular vocalist/entertainer who has appeared locally with such groups as Solid Gold, MusArt’s Motown Review Production at the Lyric Theatre, and the Chase Band out of Miami.  Recent appearances include The Fountainebleau Hotel in Miami, Mar-a-Lago and the Naples Yacht Club.  He has shared the stage with such notables as Kevin Costner, Marc Anthony and The Platters.

The Shakers, who have appeared throughout the Treasure Coast for over two decades, consist of Pete Quigley on guitar, Mike Howard on bass, Glenn Whalen on keyboards, Neil Santell on drums and Gene Oliveri on sax.

All ticket sales from the performance will benefit the Adult Day Program of the Council on Aging at the Kane Center, which offers therapeutic daily activities and care for seniors who require additional assistance.
