Coast Guard rescues 3 people from sinking vessel near Stuart
Stuart, Fla — the U.S. Coast Guard has rescued three people. They were on a 27-foot boat taking on water Saturday 8 miles east of Stuart, Florida.
Coast Guard Sector Miami watchstanders received a call from a good Samaritan reporting the incident.
A Coast Guard Station Fort Pierce 45-foot Response Boat-Medium crew arrived on scene, dewatered the vessel and escorted them to Sandspirit Park with no further incidents.
