Santa’s City Lights will hold its fifth annual display of holiday Christmas lights in Stuart, Florida. The event will be great for people who want to stroll through illuminated trees and see Santa while enjoying sweet treats and hot cocoa.

On the event’s opening night, attendees can watch “How the Grinch Stole Christmas?” The opening night will be on December 13, 2024.  The event is free, and the illuminated trees will stay lit until Christmas Day. Santa’s City Lights is in Downtown Stuart at Memorial Park at 300 SE Ocean Blvd., Stuart, Florida.

A boat parade is the perfect way to see sparkling holiday lights on the water. This year’s Martin County Christmas Boat Parade will loop through the Manatee Pocket and move up the St. Lucie River before making its way to Downtown Stuart. The boat parade is a fun, family-friendly event.

Visitors will get the best parade views on the Roosevelt Bridge, Stuart Causeway Bridge, and Flagler Park in Downtown Stuart. The staging starts at 5 PM, and the parade begins at 5:30 PM. The parade is on December 14th.

Downtown Stuart is a go-to spot for year-round fun events, and the Christmas holiday is no exception. The city hosted Christmas on Main this year, a family-friendly evening of holiday cheer. The town prepares for the event in November, setting up the massive 30-foot Christmas tree that will be aglow for all to see. The Christmas tree is placed in front of the Riverwalk Stage.

Most people visit for the Christmas tree lighting ceremony, and the tree is up throughout the holiday season. It’s at 201 SW St Lucie Ave, Stuart, Florida.

Stuart’s annual Christmas parade is one of the most anticipated and fun Stuart Florida traditions. The parade has been a holiday hit since 1960, and each year, the city introduces a unique theme. The theme for 2024’s parade is Christmas movies.

People enjoy bands, floats, and food vendors. The Annual Stuart Christmas Parade is on December 6th at 7 PM. The parade route is on SE Ocean Boulevard, and the road will be closed for the parade starting at 3:30 PM.

Each year, the Women’s Club of Stuart holds a Holiday Home Tour so that locals can admire some of the best and most beautifully decorated homes on the Treasure Coast. Holiday home tours are a great way to enjoy the Christmas spirit and a great way to see Christmas lights. Stuart Florida’s Women’s Club sells tickets for the home tour on their website.

General admission tickets for the round are $50 until December 7th. After that, they cost $60 at the door. VIP Bus tickets are $85 and include a surprise stop at a historic home on the Treasure Coast. After the tour, attendees are driven back to the clubhouse for a post-tour reception. Attendees can also choose to drive on their own. The tour starts at 10:30 AM on December 8th. The Women’s Club of Stuart is at 729 SE Ocean Boulevard, Stuart, Florida.

The Lyric Theatre Holiday Shows

The Lyric Theatre will have a busy holiday season and offer an entertaining way to celebrate Christmas. The Theatre has an exciting line-up of shows and performances, including family-friendly shows. Some upcoming shows for the December calendar include the Holy Jolly Jr. Holiday Show, a family-friendly performance for little ones, A Christmas Carol, Gary Hoey Holiday Tour, and Mindi Abair’s I Can’t Wait for Christmas Concert.

The most anticipated show at the Lyric Theatre is The Nutcracker. There will be multiple showings, including a shorter, child-friendly version of the ballet. This year, Stuart will celebrate its 125th Christmas bird count. The age-old tradition started on Christmas Day 1900 when ornithologist Frank M. The Christmas Bird Count is on December 15th from 8 AM to 6:30 PM. It’s held at Stuart Martin Circle. Attendees are encouraged to register online at Audubon of Martin County.

This year, the Kiwanis Club of Stuart is hosting The Polar Express on December 21st so kids can enjoy a holiday craft and The Polar Express Story. The event will also feature hot cocoa and popcorn. The event time is between 9 AM and 11 AM at Kiwanis Park, 1-99 SE 5th St., Stuart, Florida.

Nothing says holiday cheer more than Christmas songs. Stuart locals have a few options for enjoying Christmas music this year, including attending the Seasonal Melodies from Stage & Screen performed by the Treasure Coast Community Chorus. The chorus will be singing Christmas classes on December 7th and 8th. The concert starts at 3 PM but doors open at 2:30 PM.

The event is at Stuart Congregational Church, 3110 SE Aster Lane, Stuart, Florida, on December 7th. On the 8th, the location is at Rose Hall at St. Mary’s, 701 SE Ocean Blvd, Stuart, Florida. The cost to attend the December 7th concert is $2 per person; on the 8th, the price is $30.

The Treasure Coast Symphony will perform in two locations this year for the Holiday Extravaganza. One of those performances will be in Memorial Park in Stuart. The 19th annual Holiday Extravaganza will include a list of Christmas favorites by various artists.

Admission is a donation of a nonperishable item to the Treasure Coast Coast Food Back. The symphony will collect the food donations at the concert on December 15th at 4 PM in Memorial Park at 300 SE Ocean Blvd, Stuart, Florida.
