Santa’s City Lights

Santa’s City Lights will hold its sixth annual display of holiday Christmas lights in Stuart, Florida. The event will be great for people who want to stroll through illuminated trees and see Santa while enjoying sweet treats and hot cocoa.

The Opening Night Festivities will be on December 12 from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM and include:

  • Tree Lighting Ceremony at 5:30 PM

  • Visit with Santa

  • Yummy treats and hot cocoa

  • Holiday movie Elf shown in the park starting at 6:30 PM

  • Stroll through a dazzling forest of illuminated trees

The illuminated trees will stay on display in Memorial Park through December 28th, in case you miss opening night! Santa’s City Lights is in Downtown Stuart at Memorial Park at 300 SE Ocean Blvd., Stuart, Florida.

2025 Martin County Christmas Boat Parade

The Martin County Christmas Boat Parade is a highly anticipated holiday tradition that brings festive cheer to the waterways. Get ready to light up the night on December 6 with the parade starting at 6:00 PM from Sandsprit Park (with a backup date of December 13th).

This time-honored celebration features boats decked out in dazzling lights, inflatables, and creative themes, with festive music and community fun along the route. The parade route travels from Sandsprit Park, past Sewall’s Point, and into downtown Stuart, ending near the Roosevelt Bridge. Visitors can get the best views from the Stuart City Docks, Stuart RiverWalk, and the Evans Crary Bridge.

Downtown Stuart is a go-to spot for year-round fun events, and the Christmas holiday is no exception. Join Stuart Main Street for the City of Stuart’s 26th annual ‘Christmas Tree Lighting’ ceremony on November 28, from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM. The much-loved family event features the annual lighting of the massive 30-foot Christmas Tree, which will remain aglow throughout the holiday season. The event also features:

  • Arts & Crafts

  • Face Painting & Kids Activities

  • Photos with Santa & Mrs. Claus

  • Food & Beverage Vendors

  • Live Holiday Music & Festive Performances

  • Sleigh Rides

  • Cookies & hot chocolate

64th Annual Stuart Christmas Parade

Stuart’s annual Christmas parade is one of the most anticipated and fun traditions in Martin County. The parade has been a holiday hit for over six decades, and this year’s theme is “100 Years of Martin County” to celebrate the county’s centennial.

The 64th Annual Stuart Christmas Parade is on December 5, starting at 7:00 PM. The parade route is on SE Ocean Boulevard from Monterey Road to Stuart Middle School. Southbound lanes and turning lanes on Monterey Road will be closed starting at 3:30 PM to accommodate the float lineup.

The Women’s Club of Stuart Holiday Home Tour

The Women’s Club of Stuart Holiday Home Tour Florida

Each year, the Women’s Club of Stuart hosts its Holiday Home Tour, allowing locals to admire some of the best and most beautifully decorated homes on the Treasure Coast. The tour is on December 7, and proceeds benefit scholarships for local women.

  • General Admission Tickets are $55 until December 7th and $65 at the door. Tickets include entry to all featured homes and a post-tour reception with a silent auction.

  • VIP Bus Experience Tickets are $85. (Note: These tickets are SOLD OUT) The VIP experience includes travel by air-conditioned motorcoach to all homes and the post-tour reception. Bus check-in is from 10:00 AM–10:30 AM, and buses leave promptly at 11:00 AM.

Attendees can choose to drive themselves or take the bus. The Women’s Club of Stuart is located at 729 SE Ocean Boulevard, Stuart, Florida.

The Lyric Theatre Holiday Shows

The Lyric Theatre will have a busy holiday season with an exciting line-up of shows and performances, including family-friendly shows. Some highlights for December 2025 include:

  • A Spectacular Christmas: December 6-7 (various showtimes).

  • A Peter White Christmas with Mindi Abair & Vincent Ingala: Wednesday, December 10, at 8:30 PM.

  • FADC’s The Nutcracker: December 12–14 (various showtimes).

  • St. Lucie Ballet’s Nutcracker: December 21 (1:00 PM and 5:00 PM).

The Holiday setup starts in late November and runs until the end of December. The Lyric Theatre is located at 59 S.W. Flagler Avenue, Stuart, Florida.

This year, the Christmas Bird Count is celebrating its 126th season overall. The age-old tradition started on Christmas Day 1900 when ornithologist Frank M. Chapman proposed that locals count birds during the holidays rather than hunt them. The event is perfect for bird lovers and conservationists who want a fun way to see nature during the holiday season.

The count runs annually between December 14 and January 5, 2026. Specific local date, time, and location information should be confirmed closer to the event by checking with the Audubon of Martin County.

Stuart has many wonderful holiday events for kids and multiple opportunities to meet Santa Claus. This year, the Kiwanis Club of Stuart is hosting The Polar Express on December 20, from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM.

Bring the family to this free, family-friendly event to kick off the holiday season with cheer, creativity, and community fun. The event will feature a fun holiday craft, Polar Express story time, a special guest appearance, and hot chocolate & popcorn. The event will be held at Kiwanis Park, 451 South Colorado Ave, Stuart, Florida.

Treasure Coast Community Singers: Candles & Carols

A delightful way to get into the holiday spirit! Come enjoy Candles & Carols performed by the Treasure Coast Community Singers, Middle School and Youth Choruses, the Ensemble, and professional musicians. Their concert will be held at the beautifully decorated Stuart Congregational Church at 3110 SE Aster Lane in Stuart.

The pieces that will delight you include: A Hannukkah Wish; Angels We Have Heard on High; Caribbean Cradle Song; Carol of the Bells; Ding Dong Merrily On High; Do You Hear What I Hear; I’ll Be Home for Christmas; Anita Lullaby; Silent Night; 12 Days After Christmas; and The Wexford Carol. Concerts are held on December 6 at 3:00 PM at the Stuart Congregational Church, and again on December 7 at 3:00 PM at Trinity United Methodist Church in Jensen Beach.

The Treasure Coast Symphony Holiday Extravaganza

Join the Treasure Coast Symphony for their 20th annual Holiday Extravaganza for an afternoon of holiday favorites at the Kane Center in Stuart on December 14 at 3:00 PM. Tickets are $20 and available on the Kane Center website. Non-perishable food items are also requested for donation to the Treasure Coast Food Bank.

The program will include beloved pieces like Sleigh Ride and A Christmas Festival by Leroy Anderson, Overture to Die Fledermaus by Johann Strauss, The Polar Express, and Carol of the Drum. The audience will also enjoy a trumpet solo of Gabriel’s Oboe, Bugler’s Holiday, and sing-alongs to The Christmas Song and A Christmas Festival.
