Sheriff’s Deputies Investigating Shooting Incident
On February 3, 2016, at approximately 1:30 P.M., Deputies responded to the TTC Tax
Refund Business at 1383 Clearlake Road, Unincorporated Cocoa, in reference to an
emergency 911 call advising that shots had been fired.
Deputies arrived on scene to find three male victims with gunshot wounds.
Two male victims were transported to area hospitals and one was released on scene.
One victim was airlifted in critical condition
and the other was driven with non-life-threatening injuries. The identities of the
participants involved in the incident are not being released at this time.
The investigation into the circumstances of the event is still in the beginning stages. Homicide agents and
Crime Scene Investigators are currently processing the scene for evidence and
interviewing witnesses.
