Sheriff’s Deputies Conduct Death Investigation
Agents with the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office are conducting a death investigation in regards to an incident that was reported at a Merritt Island residence on February 21, 2016.

The investigation began after BCSO received an emergency call reporting the resident living at the residence was believed to be deceased inside the home.

Deputies responded to the residence where they were advised the resident, 42-year-old Sittichai Boonkeian, had not been seen in several days.
Deputies entered the residence where they found Boonkeian deceased and believe his death to be the result of a suicide. Deputies also located Bookeian’s daughter, identified as 13-year-old Ananya Mungmart deceased inside the home.
Agents continue to conduct interviews and are awaiting the Medical Examiner’s autopsy results to determine Ananya’s cause and manner of death.
