BRAND NEW: Hatchling Release Program at Loggerhead Marinelife Center
What are small, adorable and have four tiny flippers? Sea turtle hatchlings! Starting in August, we are launching a brand new program that enables guests to witness newly hatched sea turtles take their first crawls into the ocean. During the program, guests will enjoy an evening tour of the outdoor turtle hospital to see our current hatchlings in rehabilitation, learn about hatchling strengths and challenges, and join LMC permitted staff members as they release these precious babies back into their ocean home.
