The St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office Bomb Unit responded to a call about a suspicious object near The Landings at Tradition shopping center Sunday morning.

The Sheriff’s Office says they received a call about an item wrapped in aluminum foil in a grassy area near the parking lot of the TJ Maxx.

The Sheriff’s Office Bomb disposal unit arrived on scene and removed two suspicious objects.

Deputies determined that the objects were store security devices that were removed from merchandise.

The St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office turned the security devices over to the Port St. Lucie Police for further investigation.
