BOLO: West Melbourne Subway Robber
West Melbourne Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a man who robbed the Subway restaurant located at 3048 West New Haven Avenue in West Melbourne. The robbery occurred on Wednesday evening September 20, 2017 between 8:00 pm and 8:05 pm. It happened at the restaurant located in the Metro West Shopping Center on Wednesday. The suspect approached the Subway employee. He then placed a firearm on the counter, covered it with a shirt, and demanded all of the money from the cash register. Then, the Subway employee complied with the suspect’s request. The suspect left the store with an undisclosed amount of money. The employee was not injured.
The suspect
The robbery suspect was described as a Hispanic male in his mid to late 30’s with a thin mustache, 6’ tall, and 200 lbs. He was wearing a gray shirt, tan cargo shorts, and a black baseball cap at the time of the robbery.
