Boeing 727 Makes Emergency Landing

A Boeing 727 made an emergency landing at the Vero Beach municipal airport Thursday afternoon.

Indian River County Fire Rescue says the crew on board reported a possible engine on fire and landed safely around 5 p.m. Three people were on board the plane which is registered to ‘Zero G, a company that operates weightless flights to tourists and researchers.

No injuries were reported.
