The body of a pilot missing for more than a year has been found in Martin County.
DNA test results on bone fragments show the remains belong to 37-year-old Andrie Posteinicu, who vanished while flying from Marathon to Vero Beach in February 2014.
In the weeks after the crash, boaters and beachgoers found bones and other items along the Treasure Coast. They handed the items over to authorities.
Lab results just came back, confirming the remains are of Posteinicu. He was from the United Kingdom.
His death has been ruled an accident.
