Federal, state, and local officials will be holding a Bio-Terrorism exercise at the Martin County Airport and at local hospitals.
This exercise is a drill to test emergency response and preparedness and will closely resemble a full scale emergency response to a real life biological disaster.
The exercise is today and tomorrow, so if you see a large police presence at the airport, realize that this is just an exercise, and that no threat to the public exists.
