Battle Over "Stars and Bars" Coming to Florida

The battle over the “stars and bars” is coming to the Sunshine State.

In the aftermath of the Charleston church massacre, Dale Landry with the Florida NAACP, says their executive committee has decided to mount a statewide campaign to remove confederate flags from publicly-owned properties

The rebel banner hasn’t flown at the Florida Capitol since 2001… but it’s still being displayed at some of the buildings operated by local governments across the state.

A pro-confederate flag rally was held Saturday morning in Loxahatchee where hundreds attended.
