Stuart Police report another case of a distracted burglary attempt.
It happened in the 900 block of SW St. Lucie Crescent on Tuesday.
A woman reported that a man came to the door offering to so some tree trimming the backyard. Both went out back with the man insisted that she sit in a chair as he looked over the area needing work. When the woman got up to go back into the house, the suspect quickly got on his cell phone.
In the house, the woman saw another man was in the entryway. The two men took off.
