Alert St. Lucie has a new Short Message Service (Text Message) Sender ID

1. LUCIE COUNTY –Everbridge, the company that powers Alert St. Lucie, has recently changed the Short Message Service (SMS) Sender ID for Public Safety agencies. When St. Lucie County’s Public Safety would send out a notification the text sender ID was 89361 (893-61). From this date forward, those notifications will come up as 88911 (889-11).

As a reminder, when St. Lucie County’s Public Safety staff sends out a notification as a phone call the sender ID remains the same two phone numbers: 772-462-8388 or 772-460-4357. If you are registered to receive Alert St. Lucie messages, please make sure your mobile device doesn’t block the new number.
