This is what happened:

The Indian River County Sheriff’s Office arrested an accused drug dealer after the suspect led authorities on a chase along US 1 and Indian River Boulevard in the wee hours of Friday morning.
The suspect, later identified as Willie Robinson, fled in a vehicle when the Sheriff’s Office attempted a traffic stop. Stop sticks were deployed, but Robinson drove into the oncoming lane to avoid them.
Eventually, deputies were able to end the pursuit by hitting the vehicle with a controlled PIT maneuver in the 4900 block of US 1.
Deputies recovered 38 grams of MDPV, also known as molly, as well as a 5.56 pistol with a 50-round magazine, which was found between the driver and a passenger.

He faces new charges of fleeing and eluding, trafficking of controlled substance, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and driving with a suspended license. His bond related on the previous charges was revoked and he is being held at the Indian River County Jail without bond.
