Sunset Concerts at the Gallery is a monthly live music series from the Arts Council of Martin County (MartinArts) at the Court House Cultural Center in Stuart. Each concert takes place inside the gallery, so the music is performed against whatever exhibition is currently on the walls. The series pairs the fine and performing arts in one room.
The program changes from month to month. Past concerts have included jazz, holiday and patriotic programs, and student recitals. Many of the performers are MartinArts Award winners, and each program is built around a different artist or theme. The performances run about an hour, which suits a quiet early evening.
The room is small, and seating is capped at 50 guests. Advance registration is required through the MartinArts calendar. Registration closes one hour before the performance or when the room fills, whichever comes first. Reserved seats are held until just before the concert begins, and unclaimed seats may go to walk-up guests. MartinArts members receive free or discounted admission based on membership level, and the concerts are open to the public.
The venue is on SE Ocean Boulevard in the heart of Stuart. If you are building an evening around the concert, downtown Stuart’s shops are nearby.
