Driver arrested after crashing his car, damaging a police vehicle, and then spitting on an Officer in Port St. Lucie

Port St. Lucie, Fl (treasurecoast.com) -A driver was arrested after crashing his car, damaging a police vehicle, and then spitting on an Officer in Port St. Lucie.
Over the weekend, PSLPD Officers responded to the 2200-BLK of SE Veterans Memorial Parkway in reference to a motor vehicle crash. Officers discovered the vehicle had left the scene, but not before crashing into a tree and a traffic sign.
Officers located the vehicle responsible for the crash in a nearby parking lot which had heavy damage to the front bumper and missing a door panel. The driver and passenger were walking back to vehicle while Officers were still on scene.
According to the PSLPD The driver, 25 year old Trevor Arrington began using profanities upon returning to the scene.

He was driving on a suspended driver’s license.

After being placed in the patrol vehicle, he then began to kick the door, causing damaging to it. Then, he intentionally spat on an Officer.

Trevor was arrested and taken to jail for driving with a suspended driver’s license, leaving the scene of a crash, resisting an officer with violence, battery on an officer, and criminal mischief.
