68th Annual Rodeo Rides Again!
Indiantown, FL – The Indiantown Chamber of Commerce has announced the date for the 68th Annual Indiantown Rodeo. The Rodeo will take place at Timer Powers Park on Friday, October 16 and Saturday, October 17, 2015.
Since as far back as 1947, Indiantown has been home to one of the nation’s most prominent rodeos, drawing thousands of fans from across the country to Martin County.
In recent years, the rodeo tradition has continued at Timer Powers Park. The annual rodeo is presented in affiliation with the prestigious Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) and the Women’s Professional Rodeo Association (WPRA), and is produced by the 4L Rodeo Company.
Seacoast Bank is the presenting sponsor for the 5th year in a row. They’ve been involved in the rodeo for over 60 years.
“We are excited to join the community of Indiantown in carrying on the time-honored tradition of the annual rodeo,” said Seacoast Bank Chairman and CEO Dennis Hudson, III. “Each year we enjoy the excitement and camaraderie at Timer Powers Park as we celebrate our community’s heritage, culture, and history.”
This year’s rodeo will be the first ever to take place under the new roof structure at Timer Powers Park. The new layout will allow for close up and uninterrupted views of all the action.
The Rodeo features Bareback Riding, Steer Wrestling, Team Roping, Saddle Bronco Riding, Tie-Down Roping, Barrel Racing, and Bull Riding.
Tickets go on sale September 1, but you can follow iSteer, the official Rodeo Mascot on facebook and instagram @iSteer_.
