6 Vehicle Burglaries, SWAT Search Warrant Leads to Large Amount of Stolen Property. Suspect Arrested on 62 Charges!
19-year-old Ke’Shaun Benjamin recently moved to our community from Broward County and decided to go on a crime spree, burglarizing 6 vehicles back in early June in the area of SE Lennard Rd and SE Grand Dr.
Benjamin must have been unaware that our Criminal Investigations Division Detectives relentlessly
investigate and follow up on all investigate leads. This led to a search warrant executed by the PSLPD SWAT Team at his house where a large amount of stolen credit cards, identification cards and electronic devices were recovered from burglaries he committed in Port St. Lucie and Broward County. The investigation is still ongoing at this time to identify all the victims.
Benjamin was taken into custody last week and is now currently housed at the St. Lucie County Jail on a $325,000 bond and 62 charges including burglary, possession of stolen credit cards, fraud, and possession of ammunition by a convicted felon.
Great Job Detectives!
