14 year-old bicyclist killed by van in Stuart
Stuart, Fla- A 14-year-old boy riding his bicycle in Martin County died Monday night after he was hit by a van according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
It happened just after 7 o’clock. Authorities said Jaidyn Ryan of Stuart was eastbound on Indian St about 7:15 p.m. Then, driving southbound Alan Rithamel, 51, of Wisconsin hit him with his 2006 Dodge Sprinter as he crossed Federal Highway.
Ryan was pronounced dead at the scene, FHP said.
The crash remains under investigation.
