Sundays on the Green is a weekly community gathering at Pocahontas Park in Downtown Vero Beach. The event runs every Sunday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and combines a local vendor market with live music, food and rotating community programming.
Vendors offer fresh produce, baked goods, specialty foods, handmade goods, art, plants, vintage and upcycled items, boutique products and pet goods. Food trucks are on site, and roughly 35 vendors are expected at the opening event.
Organizers describe Sundays on the Green as broader than a traditional farmers market. Programming changes throughout the season and may include live music, community yoga, children’s activities, face painting, and seasonal events. PopUpVero also works with Main Street Vero Beach on select dates to add additional Sunday programming.
The event is designed to draw visitors into the surrounding downtown business district, with partnerships intended to connect the park to nearby shops and restaurants.
