Stuart Christmas Parade

  • SE Ocean Blvd, Stuart

The Stuart Christmas Parade is a long-standing Martin County tradition dating back to 1960. This year’s event will continue that festive cheer in Stuart and the surrounding community. The parade will feature a variety of floats, bands, and community participants.

Many viewers will start setting up lawn chairs along Ocean Boulevard early, so feel free to lock up your spot.

Participants should arrive early; floats are required to line up starting at 4:30 PM, with bands and walkers arriving by 5:30 p.m. Volunteers will assist throughout the event, and food vendors will be available from 4:00 PM.

No one should throw candy to the crowd, as this can create hazards for children running into the street. Instead, candy can be handed out to spectators while keeping the parade moving. All floats and vehicles must be adorned with at least 1,000 lights.

Parking is typically very limited. Attendees should utilize public parking spots along Ocean Boulevard and nearby side streets. Smithfield Plaza is designated for drop-off only, with no parking permitted. Some streets will be blocked off beginning the morning of the parade, so plan accordingly and start to set up early.
