Sights & Sounds on Second Christmas Parade kicks off the holiday season in Historic Downtown Fort Pierce with the theme “Fort Pierce Through the Decades”! This annual event features a parade showcasing local organizations and businesses. The parade begins at Tickle Tummy Hill on Second Street, travels south to Orange Avenue, then turns east and concludes at the River Walk Center. Visitors can enjoy a colorful and inclusive atmosphere with local shops and restaurants open throughout the day.
Street entertainment leads up to the parade at 4:00 PM. Following the parade, attendees can witness the Christmas tree lighting ceremony, illuminating the entire downtown area with a spectacular display. The festivities continue with “The Holiday Lights Spectacular” at Marina Square, an amazing display of over 100,000 synchronized lights set to holiday music, running nightly from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM through January.
