About Pioneer Park

Pioneer Park is a new waterfront recreation area in Port St. Lucie, within The Port District. Visitors can cool off at the interactive Banyan Basin splash pad, enjoying multiple play areas including:

  • Alligator & Swing (5-12 year-olds)
  • Riverboat (2-5 year-olds)
  • Water Play Area: wading stream, water channels, and water spraying (2-12 year-olds)
  • Sand Play Area: playhouse and excavator (2-5 year-olds)

  • Swing Area: ADA, belt, toddler, mommy & me, and more (2-12 year-olds)
  • Musical Instrument Stations

Pioneer Park Playground is part of the Port District, which encompasses the preserves south of the Port St. Lucie Botanical Gardens up to and including Lyngate Park. The 9.75-acre tract includes plenty of parking, a riverfront event stage, public seating areas, and much more.
