Mutt March

  • 300 Southeast Ocean Boulevard, Stuart

The Mutt March takes place annually rain or shine at the Memorial Park in Stuart, 300 SE Ocean Blvd. The event centers on a group walk through the park and offers activities for pets and families. Visitors can explore vendors, watch pets run a lure course, and participate in lighthearted contests. The event also features opportunities for photos and on-site engagement with Humane Society programs. It serves as a major fundraiser for shelter animals and raises awareness of local adoption and outreach efforts. This event is dog friendly and offers a variety of activities to entertain both person and pup.

The event includes a vendor component that allows businesses to connect with attendees in a pet-friendly environment. It provides promotional opportunities for organizations that want to support the shelter’s mission. The Honorary Dog Mayor program adds a community-driven element by allowing participants to vote for canine nominees. Each vote supports the shelter and highlights the importance of community involvement in animal welfare. The winner receives recognition and remains part of ongoing Humane Society outreach.

Please note that this is a dog-only event. Cats and other animals are not permitted due to safety reasons. Thank you for understanding!
