Lance Corporal Justin Wilson Memorial Park, also known as Palm City Park, offers a variety of amenities that include four playgrounds, picnic tables, shelters, and an observation tower. It’s really an ideal spot for families with children to enjoy the outdoors and all the nature that Palm City has to offer.
Justin Wilson Park has a single nature trail to walk along and immerse yourself in nature and there are restrooms on-site. The park is more suited to sports and family gatherings than hiking. Justin Wilson Memorial Park is equipped with several sports fields including tennis courts, soccer fields, a baseball/softball diamond, and six outdoor pickleball courts. There’s even a workout station for those who like to exercise outdoors and frequent free classes.
Justin Wilson Park, Palm City is named after Lance Corporal Justin Wilson, a Marine from Palm City who was killed in action in Afghanistan. The park serves as a tribute to his memory and sacrifice.
There are 4 tennis courts. They are free to the public on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Leashed pets are allowed and there’s plenty of space to run around with our furry friends. Please make sure to clean up after your pet. Be advised that there are areas like the playing fields that indicate that pets aren’t allowed.
