The Hobe Sound Nature Center, situated in collaboration with the Nathaniel P. Reed Hobe Sound National Wildlife Refuge, is committed to enhancing environmental awareness through educational initiatives and promoting stewardship. As a private, non-profit organization in Hobe Sound, its dedication lies in inspiring and educating individuals of all ages about the distinctive habitats and wildlife of South Florida.

Admission is free to access wildlife displays, an intracoastal beach, nature trails, and a gift shop. The core mission is to heighten awareness of the human-nature relationship through educational programs, with the overarching goal of fostering connections and appreciation for South Florida’s unique habitats and wildlife.

The Hobe Sound Nature Center also actively engages in immersive education and outreach programs, organizing events such as nature trail hikes led by expert guides. Community involvement is encouraged through volunteer opportunities in various capacities, supporting the organization’s objectives.
