Dale Wimbrow Park is a public recreation area along the Sebastian River. It features a large fenced playground, three pavilions, picnic tables, and restrooms. A paved parking lot includes handicap spaces and eight boat trailer spots. The park provides a boat launch with a seven-foot depth at the end of the ramp, offering access to the river for small boats and kayaks. Walking trails and a fitness path allow for outdoor exercise. Fishing access is also available along the riverbank.
County ordinances prohibit pets, alcohol, open fires, camping, and overnight parking. Equestrian activities and fireworks are also not allowed. The park is closed to visitors after hours, and trespassing is prohibited. For pavilion reservations or additional information, contact Donald MacDonald Park at 772-589-0087 or the Parks Division at 772-226-1875.
