The Annual Kick Off to Summer at The Children’s Museum of the Treasure Coast is a sensory-friendly family event held in Jensen Beach, Florida. It is designed exclusively for families with children who have sensory needs, special needs, or medical considerations.
The event marks the end of the school year with a small-scale, intentionally calm celebration. The format keeps attendance limited to ensure a comfortable and manageable environment for every family present.
Activities include a petting zoo hosted by Bluwolf Ranch, summer-themed hands-on activities, and an opportunity to connect with community partners offering resources for families with special needs children. The programming is structured to be inclusive and low-stimulation throughout.
Pre-registration and prepayment are required. Walk-up attendance is not accepted. Admission is $15 per family of up to four people, with $3 charged for each additional family member. Registered ABA therapists, RBTs, and similar support professionals attend free when accompanying a child or family.
