13th Annual Bark in the Park

  • 3280 Riverside Park Dr, Vero Beach

The 13th Annual Bark in the Park is a dog-centric festival in Vero Beach that benefits the Humane Society of Vero Beach & Indian River County. The event showcases talented canine performers, interactive activities, and food options for the whole family. Leashed, well-behaved dogs are welcome.

The day features multiple dog demonstrations and competitions. Disc-Connected K9’s brings their world-famous Frisbee dogs for high-flying performances. The Puppy Pals Comedic Stunt Dog Show delivers entertainment with trained dogs performing tricks and comedy routines. Dock diving dogs launch into the water in an impressive display of athletic ability. The Sheriff’s K-9 unit also demonstrates the skills and training of working police dogs.

Beyond watching performances, attendees can participate in activities. A dog lure course lets energetic pups chase and play. The kids zone provides entertainment for younger festival-goers. The dog costume contest invites creative entries, so bring your best-dressed pup for a chance to compete.

Food trucks line the venue with diverse options. Cousins Maine Lobster, featured on Shark Tank, Food Network, and MasterChef, joins the lineup this year. Other trucks offer savory BBQ and sweet treats. Adult beverages are also available for those 21 and older.

All proceeds support the Humane Society of Vero Beach & Indian River County. The organization provides animal welfare services, adoption programs, and community education. Your attendance directly contributes to their mission of caring for animals in need.
