Oleander Avenue Mini Park is a small riverfront space located in the Riverside Park neighborhood of Stuart. It sits between residential properties and is about one mile from downtown. Access consists of a narrow sidewalk that leads from Oleander Avenue toward the St. Lucie River.
The park’s footprint is limited. A short path passes through tall grass and ends at two benches positioned beneath mature trees along the riverbank. Despite its size, the location provides direct river views and functions as a quiet stop for walking, resting, or spending time outdoors. Dog walking is common, and the area is often used for short visits rather than extended stays.
Currently, the park is underutilized due to minimal infrastructure. However, planned improvements include paved sidewalks, irrigation, additional shade trees, benches, a decorative fence, and new signage. These upgrades are intended to improve safety, comfort, and accessibility while maintaining the park’s low-impact character.
