A.W. Young Park sits along the Indian River and is named after Anthony William Young, the first mayor of Vero Beach. Young played a key role in the city’s development, serving as a state legislator and helping to establish Indian River County.
The park is accessible through the Vero Isles neighborhood and provides a view of the river and its bridges. The park offers picnic shelters, tables, and a restroom. It is a well-known spot for fishing and picnicking. In addition, visitors often see marsh rabbits throughout the area.
