The Freedom Festival and Memorial Ruck, hosted by #DoYouGiveARuck, is a free event that honors the 343 firefighters who perished in the 9/11 attacks and celebrates veterans of the Global War on Terror. This community-focused event features a 1-mile ruck march, live music, food trucks, vendors, K9 demonstrations, and more.
Proceeds from the festival benefit the Veteran College Fund for the Indian River State College Veteran Program and the #DYGAR Emergency Relief Fund, which supports local veterans and their families. In addition, participants in the 1-mile ruck are encouraged to bring non-perishable food, hygiene supplies, clothes, school materials, and baby items. These donations will be distributed to fight poverty in St. Lucie County.
Join in for a day of celebration, remembrance, and community support for veterans and their families.
