About Vero Beach Boardwalk

Vero Beach Boardwalk is one of the most popular in-town beach spots in Vero Beach, and longtime locals often still call the area “North Beach” or “Conn Beach.” The boardwalk starts on Ocean Drive just north of Greytwig Road and stretches almost half a mile along a beautiful ocean vista, running into neighboring Jaycee Park. It’s one of the best places in Vero Beach for a scenic walk, letting visitors take in the sights, sounds, and spray of the ocean without ever getting sand in their shoes. Reviewers frequently point to it as a favorite spot to catch the sunrise or enjoy an evening breeze, calling it an easy, relaxing walk with gorgeous views the whole family can enjoy.

Parking runs along Ocean Drive behind the boardwalk, which can mean stop-and-go traffic during peak season, though a larger lot toward the north inside Jaycee Park offers another option. Lifeguards watch over the entire stretch of beach, and most of the activity centers around Jaycee Park, where the Seaside Grill serves up breakfast, lunch, and beachside snacks and drinks. The park also has grassy picnic areas with barbecue grills and a playground for kids, rounding out one of Vero Beach’s nicest and most scenic beach areas.
