Snorkeling Beaches
Excellent snorkeling is available within the protected swimming areas of the following Palm Beach County beaches: Gulfstream Park, Gulfstream; Ocean Reef Park on Singer Island; Carlin Park, Jupiter and Coral Cove Park in Tequesta.

Hiking Trails in North Palm Beach County and South Martin County
Jonathan Dickinson State Park
This trail consists of two loops with almost a mile of trail as a connector. The trail totals about 18 miles and traverses a variety of terrain, but primarily goes through sand pine scrub and pine flatwoods. This trail has a campsite for backpackers on each of the two loops. Reservations are provided to a limited number of people on a first come, first served basis.
The first loop is ideal for a day hike of approximately four to five hours. The park is located in Hobe Sound, and is open from 8:00 a.m. to sunset. For more information, please call (561) 546-2771.
Bush Wildlife Sanctuary
The Busch Wildlife Sanctuary is a non-profit facility dedicated to the care of sick, injured and orphaned wildlife. Each year, more that 3,000 animals receive treatment through our wildlife rehabilitation program.
The sanctuary provides an educational environment in which children and adults learn the importance of preserving Florida's flora and fauna while experiencing the unique opportunity of seeing wildlife "up close and personal." Visitors are welcome Tuesday through Saturday, 10:000 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. There is no admission charge, but donations are requested.

The 1st Annual Charitable Golf Tournament to benefit the Children’s Museum of the Treasure Coast
On Saturday May 3rd, John T. Kennedy will host a Golf Tournament at the Florida Club in Stuart to benefit the Children’s Museum. The event will begin at 8:00 am with a shot gun start.
“This is a fund raiser for the Children’s Museum,” said Kennedy. “We need golfers and sponsors to join us for a great cause.”
The Children’s Museum of the Treasure Coast will offer children and families a place to explore and learn through hands-on activities, educational programs and cultural experiences. The Museum is dedicated to providing a safe, state-of-the-art environment where curiosity and self-confidence are fostered.
The cost for a single player is ($100) and a team of four ($400). Tee, green and hole-in-one sponsors are needed. We are also looking for tournament and raffle prizes. Other sponsorship opportunities are available. Your participation will help bring an outstanding Children’s Museum to the Treasure Coast.

St Lucie County
The Recreation Division of the St. Lucie County Parks & Recreation Department provides a variety of recreational activities ranging from local neighborhood programs to county wide activities and events. The Recreation Division offers programs and activities through Special Events, Sports & Athletics, Aquatics and Community Centers.
Some of the activities offered are Co-Ed Softball, Youth Soccer, and Horseback Riding On the Beach. In addition, there are a number of organized youth camps and after school activities.
