A new season of Child Genius premiered on Lifetime Friday night, and it features a 10-year old boy from Stuart as one of it’s contestants.
The show is a reality TV contest that features 12 of the smartest children in the country.
In episode 1, 10-year-old Chancellor Gary of Stuart, scored perfect by memorizing the order of 52 cards.
Chancellor is the grandson of the famed Stuart attorney Willie Gary.
Chance is a homeschool student working at a high school level–like all 12 of the contestants on the show.
Chance’s mother Taylora says she had no issues with her son being on the big stage.
Chance took round 1, and has 11 to go. Child Genius airs Friday nights at 8pm on Lifetime.
